Perez reassures Rachel that last night’s horrific discovery may have nothing to do with the disappearance of her son Connor. Danny is outraged at the decision to let Pepper Waldron’s family return home to Ayrshire – and news soon comes in that the ex-cop has fled Shetland. Perez has no choice but to follow him, and soon finds himself caught up in a perilous journey into the ex-cop’s past.
