Tess and Jake investigate the shooting of a trucker when the Vice Squad shows up, demanding Metro PD cut their main suspect loose before they compromise an ongoing investigation. When the same suspect is found dead in the interrogation room, both squads are thrown under suspicion and the station is put into lockdown, turning up the heat on Tess and Jake’s investigation. The stakes spiral when Jake’s life is put into peril and Tess is cut off when the power goes out in Sunny’s building. Meanwhile, Kye and Sunny’s relationship deepens until Sunny overhears a suspicious phone call.
