Kenshin defeats Senkaku and finally faces off against Shishio. However, Shishio expresses his disappointment at Kenshin's policy of refusing to kill and lets his close associate, Sojiro Seta, deal with Kenshin. He leaves the village with another associate of his, Yumi Komagata.
