After the body of local photographer Jenny Westlake is found dead lying among the stones at the popular tourist spot, The Nine Virgins, Cooper and Fry are called in to investigate. As the detectives learn about the belief that the stones represent women who danced on the Sabbath with the ability to grant wishes, suspicion focuses on those close to the ‘old religion’.
